Privacy Policy
Last updated 24 September 2026
This policy explains what Crevers collects, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers crevers.com and the Crevers web application.
Crevers is operated from Nigeria. If you use the service you are sending your information to be processed there and by the providers listed below.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details. Your name and email address when you sign up. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
- Your password, which is hashed by our authentication provider. We never see or store it in readable form.
- Preferences. The niche, tone and platform you choose, so generations match what you are working on.
- Content you create. Ideas, scripts, captions, carousels and repurposed content, along with anything you save as a project.
- Brand Voice samples. If you use Brand Voice, the writing you paste in is stored so your voice can be re-derived later without asking you again. You can delete this at any time from Settings, and deleting it removes both the samples and the derived description.
- Messages you send to the in-app assistant.
Information collected automatically
- Usage records. Which features you use and how often, so we can enforce plan limits and understand what people actually use.
- Technical request data. IP address, browser user agent, the page or endpoint requested, and timing. We keep this to detect abuse, automated attacks and credential stuffing, and to investigate problems.
- Local storage. Your session and preferences are stored in your browser so you stay signed in. You can clear this by signing out or clearing your browser data.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your card details. Payments go directly to Paystack and we never see your card number. We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to advertisers.
How we use it
- To run the service: creating your account, generating content, saving your work
- To apply plan limits and process subscriptions
- To make generated content match your niche, tone, platform and Brand Voice
- To send transactional email such as password resets and account notices
- To send occasional product email, which you can switch off in Settings
- To keep the service secure, detect abuse and investigate faults
We do not use your content to train our own models. Your content is sent to OpenAI to produce results for you, under the terms described below.
Who else processes your data
Crevers runs on services that necessarily see some of your data. We use them to operate the product, not to market to you.
| Service | What it handles |
| Supabase | Accounts, authentication and database storage |
| OpenAI | Processes the prompts and content you generate. OpenAI states that data sent through its API is not used to train its models. |
| Paystack | Payments and subscriptions. Card details go to Paystack directly, not to us. |
| Resend | Sending transactional and product email |
| Railway | Hosting for the website and the API |
| Google | Sign in with Google, and web fonts, where you have chosen that option |
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the service or its users from harm.
How long we keep it
- Account data for as long as your account exists
- Content and projects until you delete them or close your account
- Brand Voice samples until you delete them from Settings
- Technical request logs for a short period, long enough to investigate abuse and faults
- Payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require
Your choices
- See or correct your details in Settings
- Delete your Brand Voice in Settings, which removes both your samples and the derived description
- Turn off product email in Settings, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Transactional email such as password resets will still be sent.
- Delete your account. Email us and we will remove your account and its associated data.
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
To make any of these requests, email hello@crevers.com from the address on your account. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider and are never stored in readable form. Access to production data is limited to what is needed to operate the service.
No service can promise perfect security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will tell you.
Children
Crevers is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We use your browser's local storage and cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. These are necessary for the service to work. Signing out or clearing your browser data removes them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Where a change materially affects your rights we will tell you by email or in the app.
